This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). No data processing agreement between the controller and GitHub is confirmed to be in place for this free-tier GitHub Pages site as of the date below.

If you write to us, for example to request beta access, we process the data you send — your e-mail address and the content of your message — to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR where the request precedes a contract). Messages are kept as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up, and are then deleted unless a statutory retention period applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for Bavaria this is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.
